The Mandalorian cast season 3 was the first live-action Star Wars TV show and a massive success, thanks to its exceptionally talented cast and highly memorable characters. Across three seasons and one spinoff show, The Mandalorian began as a gripping self-contained story before expanding into a TV universe that brought different parts of the Star Wars franchise together. From a small Star Wars western to a proper continuation of the animated Star Wars shows, The Mandalorian took its characters on a memorable journey and continues to grow with each new season.

Pedro Pascal As Din Djarin / The Mandalorian

Pedro Pascal plays the titular charm in The Mandalorian, a bounty hunter on the run to protect an innocent child from the Empire. Din Djarin has grown considerably since the start of his journey, helping the Mandalorians retake their home planet and adopting Grogu as his son. Because the Mandalorians never remove their helmets, Pascal’s face has only seen three times throughout the series, allowing him to switch to a voice-only role for season 3. Pascal is best document for his roles as Oberyn Martell in HBO’s Game of Thrones, Javier Peña in Netflix’s Narcos, and Joel Miller in HBO’s series adaptation of The Last of Us.

Grogu / The Child

Initially known as “The Child” and often referred to as “Baby Yoda,” Grogu is the same species as the legendary Jedi Master and has an equally long lifespan. Din Djarin met her while searching for Moff Gideon and the Darksaber, as reclaiming it would allow her to reclaim the throne of Mandalore. However, Bo-Katan abandonees her mission after Din Djarin won the Darksaber in combat, but the two eventually teamed up again and brought their respective tribes together. The Mandalorian season 3 end with Gideon’s defeat and the Mandalorians retaking their home planet.

Greef Karga was the head of the Bounty Hunters’ Guild and tried to kill Din Djarin after he saved Grogu from the Empire. Giancarlo Esposito is one of Hollywood’s go-to actors for TV villains, best known for playing Gus Fring in Breaking Bad and its spinoff Better Call Saul. He also played Stan Edgar in The Boys and will lend his voice to the upcoming animated movie Teenage Distorted Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.

Omid Abtahi Plays Dr. Penn Pershing

Who is Dr. Penn Pershing? Dr. Pershing is a scientist who initially worked under The Client and has since joined forces with Moff Gideon. He is conducting research on Grogu’s blood in an attempt to transfer the child’s force powers into another body. Though captured when we last saw him, Dr. Pershing returns in the third season, now living a new life on Coruscant under the eye of the New Republic. However, Pershing is eager to continue his work.

Amy Sedaris Plays Peli Motto

Who is Peli Motto? A docking bay attendant and ship mechanic on Tatooine, Peli Motto first cross paths with Din Djarin when he entrusted Grogu to her during a mission. She has since become a friend to them both and returns in the third season.

What else has Amy Sedaris been in? Sedaris is known as the voice of Princess Carolyn on the acclaimer Netflix animation BoJack Horseman, while she also star in the streaming service’s zany sitcom Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. She previously worked with The Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau on his 2003 Christmas film Elf.

Marti Matulis As Vane

Vane the Pirate was play by Marti Matulis, an actor with plenty of experience playing villains in heavy makeup. Some of Matulis’ previous credits include the title role in The Erl King, the Monstrosity in Smile, and Drone Host in Westworld.

Nonso Anozie As The Voice Of Gorian Shard
